If anyone has had the privilege of eating at The Commons at the Cannon Center (BYU Helaman Halls freshmen dormitory cafeteria), I hope you have tried their waffles- they are magical. My brother, Trevor, is a freshman this year and treats me, Brandon, and Amanda to lunch there every so often and we made a discovery of the Best Waffles Ever. Trevor and Amanda are the creators. They made a delicious Cannon Center waffle, sprinkled chocolate chips on it right away so they melt while the waffle is still hot, then drizzle maple syrup, and then top with whipped cream. It is one of the most delicious things EVER!So for Valentine's Day, we used our heart-shaped waffle iron to make waffles (definitely not as good, but they serve the purpose) and put these toppings on for a yummy treat! I recommend you all either go to the Cannon Center to have the "real thing" or make your own at home.

Amy, I've been waiting for you to blog to see what's up. I am definitely trying those waffles. Your siblings are so lucky to have you in Provo while going to BYU. I am also crazy about Valentine's Day. I wrote a blog on it as well.
Okay that looks and sounds so good! We will have to try them out the next time we go to Utah.
