Brandon and I were able to go see my family in Iowa for the holidays. It was sooo much fun.On Christmas Eve, we always act out the Nativity story. The roles changed up a lot this year. Usually my younger sister Blair is Mary and we use a stuffed bear as Joseph. And usually my younger sister Gwen is the angel. But they both wanted to be wise men this year so Brandon and I were Joseph and Mary and my brother Trevor was the angel :)
On Christmas morning, we close our eyes and my dad leads us to the room where we see what Santa brought us. Everyone got these awesome neck pillows that we used a lot over break whenever we were sitting around and needed a little extra neck support :)
For our sibling gift exchange, my brother Trevor had me and Brandon. He got us the movie The Italian Job which is definitely one of our favorite movies but for some reason we didn't own so it was perfect. He also got me a beautiful scarf and Brandon a very good-looking tie. Trev gave us some awesome presents!
We celebrated Amanda's 22nd birthday on December 30th.
We also partied on New Year's Eve- we picked up some Chinese food and watched Horton Hears a Who before the countdown. For the rest of break we just hung out- saw some new movies in the theater, rented some good movies, went shopping, celebrated Blair's birthday, made yummy food, and just spent time together. My mom gave the girls a "Spa Day" again this year and that was of course amazing! It was great to be home for the holidays.

I love the Mary action going on there, Amy ;)I like your tradition of closing your eyes and getting led to Santa's gifts by your dad. Sad that Christmas is already almost a month past us! Time to look forward to next Christmas, right? :)
Amy, I love the pictures. It feels like I'm right there. Trevor was born to be an angel. I wish I was in the line with my eyes closed being led to the presents. I also heard about the spa day and think it is an excellent idea.
