Baby project #2

My next baby project was to make a baby comforter cover for the baby-size down comforter my mom gave me. I got some blue minky fabric and made it all on my own without a pattern or my mommy's help or anything! I think it turned out really well and its so soft!

Here's my 28-week bump:

We realized we hadn't taken any pictures of us together since we moved so we took a "family" picture.

nice blanket! isn't the mink fabric really hard to work with? way to go! I love how cute you're looking. BYW motherhood maternity sucks. good thing i'm in SF where there's plenty of shopping...i've seen a few maternity stores :)

Well the minky fabric wasn't too tough since I was mostly just sewing sides together but it can get a little slippery so I had to pin it together a lot to make sure it stayed where it was supposed to. You're so lucky to have so much good shopping!! I'm so jealous!

you look so cute!
I don't know if you've found good maternity pants yet, but I had some great ones that were just from old navy. they were low-rise, and had just a really small elastic waistband-- not one of the panels. They just sat really low, underneath my belly, and they worked a lot better than the huge panel ones that I was constantly pulling up. Good luck! Finding maternity clothes that still make you feel cute and comfortable can be such a challenge!
