Graduating from BYU was such a rewarding experience. The best part was having family come into town to celebrate our graduation with us. I was able to attend my School of Health Science Banquet with some good friends from my major and hear congratulations from professors I'm so grateful for.
Vice President Dick Cheney's words at Commencement were so heartfelt and we felt so privileged that he wanted to be a part of our graduation experience. It was also an extreme honor to have President Gordon B. Hinckley there at Commencement. My dad and sister and Brandon's family were able to celebrate graduation with us.
After the Commencement exercises, Brandon's parents hosted a fun graduation barbecue party. Brandon and I both had friends graduating also so they and their families were invited. It was a lot of fun.
The next day, Brandon walked with me in my School of Health and Human Performance Convocation graduation ceremony. We took pictures and went out to eat. It still doesn't feel quite real that we're graduated but we definitely realize what an accomplishment it is and we know we couldn't have done it without the love and support from our family and friends.
