We were able to go to the Washington DC temple and it was wonderful. We drove up to pick up Brandon's brother Jason who lives in DC but needs a place to stay for a couple weeks until he goes to a wedding and then visit his parents in Wyoming and then head back to his new job this summer. So Jason watched Josh for us so we could do a session in the temple. We took a few family pictures outside the temple afterward. The weather was perfect and Josh loved walking around looking at all the pretty flowers and water fountain and the temple of course.
After the temple we met up with my wonderful friend April who lives in DC. April and I have been friends since college and I'm so glad we've kept in touch and get to see each other a little more often now that we live closer. We got lunch and it was great to visit and catch up and see each other. April and Jason are actually in the same ward in DC so they are friends, small world.
