Amanda came to visit!

Amanda came to visit! She was able to be here for Emma's baby blessing. Then she stayed for a week. It was a party. Amanda is so much fun. She played with Josh like she's a professional "2-year-old-player-wither". Like they plllaaaaayyyyed and boy did he have fun. He still remembers some of the great memories they made together that he wants me to try to replicate but it's never even close to the same.

It was so fun and so much help having Amanda visit us. She kept me not just sane, but so happy. She was so helpful with cooking and cleaning. She knew what needed to be done without me even having to ask. She is AMAZING with children and babies. AMAZING. A natural. She's going to be a way better mom than me. She was amazing at distracting Josh with a new fun activity when he started getting into trouble. She didn't let him walk all over her but she didn't ever need to do any sort of discipline. She is just so much fun that she knew how to totally diffuse a problematic situation and turn it into a totally fun time. She is so loving and patient. She read my mind and did exactly what needed to be done and said what I needed to hear and helped me in the most perfect ways. It was incredibly therapeutic and enjoyable to just talk with her and spend time with her. We think alike and have similar humor and feelings about things. It was just the best time. I'm so grateful she came. I love you Amanda!
