Wednesday

Wednesday we went to Provo in the morning to spend time with the Fellars and I had a few errands to run, grabbed lunch at In-N-Out, then Josh fell asleep in the car and we wanted him to keep sleeping so Emma, Jack, and I walked around Cabela's for awhile at Thanksgiving Point to kill time.

 I have fond childhood memories of always stopping at the Cabela's in Nebraska on all of our family road trips growing up so it was really fun for me to experience it with Emma. She loved to see all the fish and animals. Except the lions eating the antelope, she didn't love that.

Then we kept driving to Sandy where we were hoping to see Albert (Ashley's son, our nephew) before his soccer game and watch him play for a bit. We got to hang out with Ashley and Sergei and we did get to see Albert for just a few minutes (didn't get a picture with him though :-(.)

Then we drove to the house my family was renting in SLC to meet up before the groom's dinner that evening.

Then we all drove to the UofU alumni house for the groom's dinner that night. It was really fun meeting Ben's (Amanda's fiancee) parents, siblings, and best friends. The food was delicious and the kids were surprisingly pretty well-behaved but then crashed toward the end and boy did we need to get out of there and get them to bed. Wednesday night wasn't the best, Jack didn't do great and the kids were up early.
