Tuesday Brandon went to BYU to fill out paperwork. we hung out, went to a park, had pizza for dinner, made cookies, watched a movie. It was fun and relaxing.
Wednesday was Brandon's first day of work!
Thursday we went to Provo to look at a few places to rent but no luck.
Friday morning we went to a ranch with animals a few minutes away in Midway.

Friday night Trevor came over to hang out and stay the night and then he took Abigail to the airport Saturday morning. Abigail did so much for us. Aside from helping me drive to Utah from Iowa, she was willing to stay with us for a week after. She took care of us. She played with the kids, fed them, bathed them, and other gross stuff you have to do for kids sometimes. She cleaned all the time. She made everything so fun and helped me feel so supported and validated with what I was going through. She is a nurturer. She takes care of those around her in the way they need it and as a receiver you don't feel like it's a burden on her, you feel like she loves caring for you which makes it that much sweeter. Abigail and I also think alike and do things similarly so she was basically an improved version of me and "parented" the kids the way I would, only better ;-) so it was so relieving and comforting and amazing to have someone we love so much around making things half as hard and twice as good. Abigail is sooo incredibly loving, patient, positive, sincere, and has such a huge heart you can't help but want to be better and more loving and kind and positive because of her.
She is so special, truly an angel. Her friendship to me has always been one of the biggest blessings of my life. She has rescued me countless times by being just the person I could talk to, open up to, share with, and trust with feelings, trials, and struggles. But she's also someone I can share my greatest accomplishments, feelings of pride, joy, happiness, and she sincerely feels my feelings with me. She exemplifies empathy and acceptance and unconditional love. That SHE was available and willing to come with me to Utah and stay for a week at this particular time was a miracle and a blessing and a service to our family that I'll never forget. We had such a memorable, hard, fun, comical, heartfelt week together.
It was so awesome that Trevor was still in Utah too so we could hang with him a ton before he moves to North Carolina this weekend :-(. I love this guy so much. He inspires me every day to have courage, be real, connect, and live wholeheartedly. Both of us moving across the country (in opposite directions) and doing scary hard things and remembering to be vulnerable and authentic when faced with a new environment and faced with the challenge of creating a new community and finding our place and purpose has been an experience we can support each other through. His courage is contagious.
