Tulip Festival

Some co-workers and I went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I had never been before because I never remember to go before it ends (this weekend was the last weekend) but I'm so glad I was finally able to go. It was so gorgeous... breathtakingly beautiful actually. The colors are so vibrant that you feel like you must be walking around inside a painting. It had been sprinkling rain that day so the moisture brought out the fresh flowery smells even more.

Here is a picture of Nicole and I standing on some steps that were alongside a really neat fountain. There was also a secret garden. We walked inside a tunnel made of branches and found a door that took us to a secret garden with a huge fountain. It was really fun. There was also a huge man-made waterfall-- you can walk up to the top to see the view of the entire garden. It was so refreshing to see these amazing flowers and be able to breathe in the clean fragrant air. It was also really fun to spend time with Nicole and Christine.
