Sunday morning I woke up to one of my favorite Rascal Flatts songs "I Wish" playing. I was still half-awake, half-asleep but lying in my bed happy to just listen to the song. I finally woke up realizing there was music playing and sat up to see this Mother's Day surprise! An iHome Clock Radio that you can plug an ipod into... and has a remote!
I have had the same Sony Dream Machine clock radio ever since I was a freshman in college-- it's been great but all the radio stations are a little fuzzy and the numbers on the clock are so bright that I have to turn it around to face the wall so I can go to sleep because it lights up the whole room! I'll have to keep it in case someone ever needs a night light :)
It's great having Brandon around to keep me up-to-date on life-improving technology. Isn't it funny how we use our alarm clocks every morning but don't really think about it? We just push snooze a few times or turn the alarm off and move on with our day. There were definitely things I didn't like about my old alarm clock but I didn't really think about getting a new one. Now instead of waking up to an annoying Gold's Gym commercial (you know the annoying Cookie Monster voice I'm talking about... "Join Gold's for a penny a pound!"), I can wake up to a favorite song every morning! I woke up this morning to "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga and I'm serious-- this alarm clock has changed my life! believer that how you feel when you wake up affects the rest of your day!Brandon is always so romantic and creative in his gift presentations. Even though I'm not a mother yet, Brandon is always so sweet and thoughtful to me on Mother's Day. I'm a lucky girl!
