Well since Brandon has been working about 60 hours a week,

Monday through Saturday (but sleeps in til noon on Sundays since he works until about 4am Sunday mornings), I basically only see him weeknights and lately weeknights have been mostly spent relaxing. Soooo since Brandon had today off work for the holiday it was seriously the first time since moving here that we've been able to go out and do some fun things together and I made sure the day was all planned out since I don't know when his next day off will be :).

We woke up and went on a bike ride to check out the area surrounding where we live. Then we went swimming in our pool. Then we drove about 20 minutes to Chile's Peach Orchard in Crozet, VA where we picked some peaches. I wanted to go there soon since peach season is almost over. We plan to go to Carter Mountain Apple Orchard here in Charlottesville really soon to pick some apples since apple season is just starting.
Then we grilled up some hamburgers and cheddarwurst

s for our Labor Day barbecue. Yum! Then we drove around UVA campus (but it's not called "campus", it's called "the grounds") so I could see it. It still amazes me how many trees there are here. You can hardly see buildings sometimes because there are so many trees. It also still amazes me how narrow some roads are here. I can't fathom how buses make turns on those skinny roads! Then we went to a popular frozen yogurt place close to "the grounds" called
Arch's Frozen Yogurt-- it was really good. It was a fun day!

Amy, I can't believe that you guys moved. Congratulations on the new job and cute apartment. I'm also glad that Brandon loves his job, what a blessing. Labor day looked like fun.
Your apartment is so cute! And I love all your pictures. Charlottesville looks so clean and pretty!
Hi Brandon and Amy,
this is Nick's mom~glad you got to Charlottesville and are enjoying it there.
We have been there only once but were so impressed with the University and it's history.
My sister said that Thomas Jefferson has had such an influence in the city that many people talk like he is still around and it referred to as 'Tom'.
Take care~

Cute apartment! Despite the cons of being over there (like no SuperTargets or Cafe Rios, which really is a bummer), looks like a beautiful place! So glad you guys are doing well :)
