Josh turned 1!

Josh turned 1!! We had a little birthday party for him. Josh's friend Mary came but his friend Winnie got sick and couldn't come. It was fun. Brandon barbecued kabobs and we had fresh fruit and yummy fruit dip. I made carrot cupcakes and a carrot cake for Josh. Josh opened presents-- Mary gave him some awesome books. He loves books and really loves the ones Mary gave him.

Then Josh ate his cake! It was pretty funny watching him go to town. First he was tentative not sure if he was allowed to touch it. But once he got a taste, he dove in and, as Justin observed, "wouldn't come up for air"!
