We went on a family vacation to Provo, UT. It was such a fun-filled vacation. It had the perfect amount of doing fun stuff and also just relaxing and enjoying time with family. We stayed with Brandon's sister Lindsey and their family. We got there late and the next morning I woke up to find Josh playing
outside with his cousin Nathan and having the time of his life playing
in the dirt with diggers. 
That night I went to The Chocolate with Amanda. The next day Amanda and I had a sleepover at her apartment. We made a homemade chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Best chocolate cake ever. We also saved room for popcorn and dark chocolate raisins while we watched a movie. It was so fun to have a girls night, like really, girls nights are the best, but girls nights with sisters, heavenly.
The next morning we made crepes for breakfast and Josh and Brandon came to eat them with us. Then Amanda serenaded Josh with his favorite song "Baby" by JB on the guitar and gave him a present (a digger truck and bubbles). She knows the way to a 2-year-old boy's heart.
Sunday morning we drove to Manti to visit my mom's parents. We said hi to the baby lambs really quick and then went to church with them. Then we had lunch and visited while Josh took a nap. Then when Josh woke up we went back outside and Grandpa let Josh help bottle-feed the lambs. Josh loved running around and seeing the lambs and chickens, swinging on the tire swing, and gave Grandma and Grandpa lots of hugs and kisses before we left. It was so fun to see them and let them meet Josh.
We went to the new BYU Broadcasting building where our old co-worker and friend, Alana, gave us a tour.
We took a picture on the set of the Chef Brad show on BYUTV because my mom LOVES that show :).
On Memorial Day we went to This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. It was really fun. Josh loved riding the trains there. They have a petting zoo with tons of animals that you can pet. Josh had no fear. He pet all the animals and even tried riding some of them! There was a lot of fun things for kids to do and it was enjoyable for adults too. We had great weather and had a fun time.
Then we got dinner at Cafe Rio and stopped at a fun park for Josh to get some wiggles out.
That night we went to the Vocal Point/Pentatonix concert at the outdoor Scera theater. We had front row seats! It was the best concert I've ever been to. It was soooo much fun to see Trevor perform live with Vocal Point and meet them afterward.
That weekend Brandon's family had a family reunion at Aspen Grove. I think Aspen Grove is what heaven will be like :). It was so perfect. They have things for everyone of all ages to do. The camp counselors take your kids all day and they have the time of their life. They have stuff for adults to do but you can also just go relax at the pool or play mini-golf or do whatever you want. They had a guest lecturer who was a religion professor from BYU who had 5 lectures we attended and the lectures were awesome. We made cigar pens, glazed Christus statues, fished at the fish pond, did a Ropes course, and in the evenings when we were all together they had fun family events. The first night was Cowboy Night and they had a train that Josh rode over and over and over until they stopped doing train rides. One night was a campfire program they camp counselors put on. The camp counselors are all so nice and fun and great with kids. The food was awesome and it was so nice not to have to worry about cooking or cleanup. After the official camp festivities were over each day, the adults would put the kids to bed (we stayed in the lodge that was like a hotel and used baby monitors :)) and go out into the lobby and play a game and eat munchies.
We had the best time and it was such a perfect vacation. It was fun to be back in Provo for a couple weeks. There are things about Provo we miss and we have a lot of great memories there. Josh had a blast and got a lot of lovin :)
