Our ward had a fun Easter activity of a barbecue lunch and egg hunt. This is the 2nd year the activity has been at the Freeman's house and they have a huge yard, trampoline, playground equipment, and chickens! Josh explored, filled his shirt pocket full of rocks, chased chickens, jumped on the trampoline, all before the egg hunt even started. Then he quickly gathered some eggs and asked if he could go play with the chickens more.
Until the kids are old enough to do clues to find their Easter basket, we just do an Easter egg trail that leads them to their basket. I think they get more toys on Easter than they do on Christmas. Both grandparents spoil them and we got them some toys too.
