Mini family reunion!

After dropping Karen off at the airport we had about an hour and a half drive to my parents house. It was crazy how hard that "short" drive was. It was like we all knew we were so close but just couldn't quite make it. I seriously had to stop at a rest stop 15 minutes away from my parents house because Jack was crying so hard and the kids were whining and we just needed a quick break. My family wasn't going to get home til really late that night so we weren't in a hurry but were ready to get out of the car. We finally made it and the kids were in heaven to be at Grandma and Grandpa's house and play outside and we were all so glad to be out of the car!!

I brought all our stuff in, the kids took baths, and went to bed. Then my family got home! (They had been at the Indianapolis temple open house). My parents, Gwen, Blair, Polly, Abigail. And Trevor was home to visit too! We were all together and it was so heavenly. It was my 'reward' for all my hard work to be home and with everyone :-). I was exhausted and staaarrrviiiinng and Abigail and Trevor ran to Chick-Fil-A and brought home a tray of nuggets and fries and we all chowed down and laughed together and hugged a few times and it was just awesome.

We had such a great time, just a nice relaxing time together. It was awesome to spend time with everyone and for the kids to get so much attention. We'd had such a crazy couple weeks that it was great to feel taken care of and have a great time before the next leg of our journey.

Also, Trevor bought his first car! That was part of the reason he was home. So he drove back to Utah with us in his new car.
